What is DeVol Score?

DeVol Score is an incentive program & a prelude to the upcoming launch of our token. It is designed to reward various participants in the DeVol ecosystem, including traders and participants in our referral program.

How to increase your DeVol Score?

You can increase your DeVol Score two ways.

Trade: Earn 0.1 point for each $1 of notional volume traded on the platform, regardless of whether you are buying or selling a position. Every leg counts.

Refer: Earn 10% of the points your referred user accumulates.

How is DeVol Score calculated for traders?

Points are equal to the size of your position multiplied by the spot price, regardless of whether you are buying or selling. For a complex order, you earn points for each leg.

In all examples, let’s assume the spot price of BTC is $40,000.

• Buy or sell 1 call or put at any strike: 4,000 points.

• Buy or sell 0.5 call or put at any strike: 0.5*4,000 = 2,000 points.

For a call spread:

• Buy 1 at-the-money call: 4,000 points

• Sell 1 out-of-the-money call: 4,000 points

You will earn a total of 8,000 points.

For a butterfly:

• Buy 1 call with a strike of $38,000: 4,000 points

• Sell 2 calls with a strike of $39,000: 8,000 points

• Buy 1 call with a strike of $40,000: 4,000 points

You will earn a total of 16,000 points

How is DeVol Score calculated for referrers?

If you refer a user through your Referral Link, and that user earns points, then you will also accumulate 10% of the points they earn.

Will DeVol Score reflect all transactions made since the platform went live on Mainnet?

Yes! For those of you that have been trading on DeVol, your score will reflect all prior transactions to date. This is the reason some of you are starting with a non-zero balance!

Will I be also able to increase my DeVol Score as a Liquidity Provider?

Yes, we are working on it. Coming soon!

Is the DeVol Score connected to an upcoming token launch?

Yes. The DeVol Score is the pathway to our token. Your score will determine the percentage of your allocation.
